"The co-listing brokers, Wendy Lister of Coldwell Banker Bain and Moira Holley of Realogics Sotheby's International Realty, are marketing it as “the showcase of [the] celebrated Mercer Island Diamond Coast.” They call it a “pinnacle property meticulously carved with demand for excellence.” The seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom manse includes imported stone and is on about 1.7 acres with 164 feet of wade-in beach. One local said the sellers of the three-year-old house, David and Becky Sandwith, wanted to construct a much bigger compound. Some neighbors fought the plan and the Sandwiths never moved in, according to our source, “largely because they did not feel welcome.” Dean Jones, owner of Realogics Sotheby's in Seattle, said his company recently marketed the house in Hong Kong at a Sotheby's event. It hits the local market tomorrow."
