Ca'Bruzzo Winery - San Germano dei Berici, Vicenza Italy was featured as the PSBJ "Home of the Day" on April 1st. The article reads, "who hasn’t daydreamed of owning their own vineyard on a piece of Italian paradise?
This enchanting property rests in the Colli Berici Hills, a range of hills located in the central part of the Veneto region, 1 hour west of Venice, 45 minutes from Verona, 40 minutes from Vicenza. It is a land of hiking, biking and wine enthusiasts. And of course, all the wonderful things you love about the Italian lifestyle. Build your legacy while living your dream.
The Ca’ Bruzzo property is 22.5 acres large (9.11 Hectars), 12.35 (5 Hectars) of which are lush hillside vineyards growing 5 varieties of grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Sangiovese, Chardonnay and Tocai Rosso (local Italian grape related to Grenache and Cannonao). These grapes have been cultivated using eco-compatible organic farming methods since 1977: No pesticides, chemical fertilizers or herbicides. No irrigation is used, forcing the roots to grow deep to find moisture, adding to the character of the wine. Ca' Bruzzo organic wines have been featured in Wine Spectator and the vineyard/winery recently appeared on the Europass Show: "Italian Fine Wines and Food".
This fully operational vineyard is completely outfitted with a cantina large enough to entertain groups of 10-20 people and a gorgeous new wine cellar/tasting room. Ca’ Bruzzo has received numerous awards from the industry. The property includes stables, outbuildings and garage, above which is located separate studio apartment.
